How we can help developers:

• Energy strategy consultancy to design building strategies that maximise efficiency, reduce heat loss and maintenance costs and prepare for low-carbon heating systems

• SY Ecofit’s in-house install team can tender for work packages such as loft insulation, high performance glazing and lime-based plasters, reinvesting any surplus into local retrofit and clean energy projects

• Integrate skills training into your project, using retrofit works to upskill local contractors and new entrants, including in heritage building techniques

• Design and deliver on-site renewable energy systems such as solar PV installations, with capital raised through community share offers to keep energy revenue in the local economy

• Embed community engagement through workshops and by integrating your development into community-centred retrofit, building a sense of local ownership and long-term collaboration
