Community Benefit Society announced

We’re delighted to announce the creation of the Community Benefit Society: Sheffield Energy Works, acting as the asset owner for our first clean energy project, reMooable Energy.

We’ll be:

Working with the Sheffield Energy Hub to establish a permanent presence for community energy in South Yorkshire

Collaborating with partners including the University of Sheffield and Hallam University to build the social – economic – environmental case for community energy

Opening our first share raise for the ReMooable Energy project later this year

and we have two more GBE Community Fund Feasibility Studies about to start

Our Pipeline

We were delighted to be asked to speak at the Community Energy England Winter Conference in November.

Lizzie delivered a presentation about the work SY Ecofit has undertaken alongside project partners to develop the Our Cow Molly dairy farm decarbonisation project, reMooable Energy, and announced the Community Benefit Society, Sheffield Energy Works.
