Julia Smyrnowa
Julia (PhD, MSc, MIOA) is our lead PAS2035 assessor, with over a decade’s experience in reducing carbon emissions and energy costs in domestic properties.
Julia is passionate about building partnerships that broaden participation in the construction industry and advocates for the use of sustainable materials in our work.

Design Lead
Claire Taylor
Claire leads our in-house design team ensuring plans are beautiful as well as energy efficient. She did her Part 2 at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales which was formative in terms of her thinking about sustainable and environmental design and using natural materials. Before joining SY Ecofit she worked for a local architectural practice on retrofit and renovation projects in and around Sheffield.

Installation Lead
Roscoe Blevins
Roscoe leads our install teams and has nearly 10 years of experience in joinery as well as retrofit installations, specialising in natural and sustainable materials.
He’s responsible for making sure we deliver efficiently and ‘right first time’ on site. Roscoe is embedded in the South Yorkshire community and has an extensive local professional network.
