The best place to begin is with an expert home assessment.
We provide detailed energy efficiency and retrofit assessments to help you understand your home’s performance and identify the best steps forward.
We offer three options tailored to your needs:
Assessment+ Measures: A practical home inspection and advice report with quick wins and longer-term improvements to boost warmth, comfort and energy efficiency.
This retrofit advice and home energy survey is a good starting point for homeowners who are interested in taking practical steps to improve warmth, comfort and energy efficiency.
It focuses on three key areas:
Occupancy/lifestyle/energy usage – how your home is lived in and heated
Condition report – the current state of your building fabric and systems
Recommended improvements – tailored to your goals and your home
Surveys are conducted by our qualified Retrofit Assessors and follow the principles of PAS2035. Following your home visit, you will receive a written report detailing our observations and recommendations.
Price starting from £350 (incl. VAT)
Whole House Plan: A data-driven retrofit plan tailored to you and your home’s needs.
This service includes everything in Assessment+, but also includes a much higher level of technical detail. Our Retrofit Assessors capture data specific to your home and undertake modelling to:
Show heat loss by building element
Estimate the projected benefits of each proposed measure
This data-driven approach is used to create a “Retrofit Road Map” (plan) for your home. This will help you decide whether to undertake work immediately or adopt a phased approach.
Price starting from £850 (incl. VAT)
Optional Add Ons
Thermal Imaging Survey: Our thermal imaging surveys are designed to identify areas of heat loss and insulation defects. Using high-resolution infrared cameras, our trained retrofit assessors conduct external and internal scans to detect thermal bridges, draughts, and poorly insulated building elements. These surveys are typically carried out under controlled weather conditions to ensure accuracy and are accompanied by a detailed report highlighting key findings and recommended retrofit measures.
Cost of initial report plus £100 (incl. VAT)
Heat Pump Ready (add-on): This is designed to help you understand the practical steps you should take to prepare your house for an air source heat pump installation. One of our heat pump experts will visit your home and provide recommendations for “fabric first” improvements (such as insulation, replacement windows and doors) plus specialist heating advice on the practicalities of positioning, installing and running an air source heat pump so that it works efficiently (including minimising the long term running costs) within the individual context of your home and energy usage.
The survey focuses on three key areas: existing conditions; occupancy, lifestyle and energy usage; and recommended improvements. Following our initial visit you will receive a written report detailing our observations and recommendations. Specifically, the survey will include a list of recommended steps to get your house ready to receive an air source heat pump.
Cost of initial report plus £250 (incl. VAT)
Energy Performance Certificate (EPC): Providing your home’s energy efficiency rating and required when a property is sold, let, or newly constructed
Cost of initial report plus £90 (incl. VAT)
